DC Universe Online ... Almost

For those of you who know of this new game (newish) you'd know that it is an online MMO RPG PVP (whatever the fuck that means), it cost me $89 at JB Hi-Fi where I traded in about thirty one Playstation 2 games and three or four Playstation 3 games to acquire a $297.8c JB Hi-Fi gift card. So practically got it for free but that's not the point. I bought it for my PS3 (because I'm awesome) and waited the whole three hours of installation time after having to delete 25 gig of other game data to allow the blasted thing. I was so happy when I finally got to play the game (which is subscription by the way like WOW [never played WOW, never will]) I got to create my character, play a bit of the first level when my partner decides she wants to create her own character too.

I thought this wouldn't be a problem at all cause she likes to play games and I like to play games and she said I'd get my game back after she created her character. I've had the game for about five days now and have played say...twice in that whole time. Now I'm not one to complain (teehee) but I do want to play my game sometimes. She's played it for the majority of the days, I have played maybe an hour to half an hour in the time I've had the game. She's played at least 24 hours in total over the past 5 days.

Me = 30 minutes
My Partner = 1440 minutes

Oh well. She goes to Tafe next week. I get to play while she's gone! Woohoo!!! (Could I sound more pathetic)

The game itself I have to say is pretty freaking awesome. I'm a Joker fan myself (if ya hadn't already guessed) but from seeing my partner play and playing the amount of time I have come to the conclusion that it was a very good buy/trade in. I know eventually I'll have plenty and lots of fun flying around and beating up hippies. Hippies and cops I suppose.

P.S. If you don't hear from me for a while it's cause she read this and I've been hospitalized...or killed...perhaps even maimed

  1. MMO is Massive Multiplayer Online
    RPG is Role Playing Game
    PVP is Player Versus Player
    Sounds like your kind of game V, give 'em hell!

  2. BRILLIANT! Thanks Emma...now I can really kick some Super Hero behind in the Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game in which I chose a Player Versus Player map! No more Batman to save the world now. 8D
    Get mine back on some PWNERS too >8)
