Screw 2012

Here in Australia I'm waiting to see someone out there in hobo clothes (a hippie no doubt), with scraggly hair, rings around their eyes and wearing a front and back sign which upon reads "the end is nigh". At the moment everyone's got their opinions about the end of the Mayan Calendar and that we're all going to die in 2012 from some kind of Apocalypse. Well I hate to break it to ya, but the Mayan Calendar has run out before...several times. What, did we just somehow survive the Apocalypse and have an "Operation Re-population"? Just another load of crap the media can chow down on. At the moment I think Australia has 2011 to worry about. The eastern states have their floods, cyclones and everything else shit going for them. I give my condolences and hope all works out for them. A more controllable natural disaster (even though technically man made) is happening over here in Western Australia. We had a cyclone as well not long ago, Cyclone Bianca I think it was. Although it obliterated a few southern suburbs it seemed to have faded out before it could do too much damage. And I emphasize too much only because Queensland seems pretty fucked right now. I hope they make a full recovery over the next few months if not sooner.

I personally do not believe that the world will ever end. Religion is pathetically over dramatized this world to the point where even Atheists believe that crap. And they...we I should say don't believe in much. I await four horseman and worship demons. Yeah right, well here's hoping we get through 2011. And if you believe in 2012 well then there's no real point in continuing, is there?
